In connection with the sale of batteries or the supply of devices that contain batteries, we are obliged as a seller under the German Battery Act (BattG) to inform you of the following:
Batteries and accumulators must not be disposed of with household waste, and you are legally obliged to return used batteries and accumulators. You can return batteries to us or to designated collection points (e.g. municipal collection points or retailers) free of charge after use. You can also send the batteries back to us by post (sufficiently stamped).
The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meaning:
The symbol with the crossed-out wheeled bin means that you must not dispose of batteries and accumulators
with household waste.
- Pb = battery contains more than 0.004 mass percent lead
- Cd = battery contains more than 0.002 mass percent cadmium
- Hg = battery contains more than 0.0005 mass percent mercury
